Apply now for TU Berlin’s international alumni workshop “Enabling the dietary shift towards sustainable food choice decisions (EDSusChoice)” taking place from September 10 to 16 in Berlin, Germany.

The impact of global food production and consumption on economic, social, health and environmental aspects such as climate change and food security calls for a transformation of the food system. One way to achieve this is a “dietary shift”, i.e. the change of the individual diet towards a sustainable diet through choice, preparation and consumption of sustainable food.

The goal of the international alumni workshop “Enabling the dietary shift towards sustainable food choice decisions (EDSusChoice)” is to enhance competences of Germany alumni who are interested in the topic of sustainable nutrition. As future multipliers, they will be equipped with potential solutions and tools for a dietary shift towards a sustainable food system.

The workshop is taking place from 10 to 16 September 2023 at TU Berlin, Germany and is looking to bring together alumni of German institutions of higher education and research who reside outside Germany and are professionally engaged in the topic of sustainable nutrition.

The workshop is organized by TU Berlin’s Chair of Education for Sustainable Nutrition and Food Science in cooperation with the university’s Alumni Program, and it is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

For detailed information about the program, the prerequisites for participation, funding and the opportunity to apply please refer to the Alumni Portal of TU Berlin.
